What is left hand drive?
There is a fundamental traffic flow convention used by nations around the world known as the Rule of the Road, but it is not the same in every country. The U.S. is an example of a place that uses the the right hand drive rule, while the UK and Spain are examples of locales using the left hand drive rule. This has nothing to do with drivers being right- or left-handed. It simply refers to which side of the road vehicles keep to except to pass. Right hand drive simply means that vehicles keep to the right and the controls are located on the left side of the dashboard, and vice-versa.
