My mother bought me discount video games
Ever since the recession started, our family has been having some financial difficulties. This means cutting back on everything, particularly entertainment. This means that as much as I love computer games, I have to play them at my friends’ house.
But my mother surprised me: apparently there is a shop in our mall that has many discount video games. She asked which ones were the most popular and got me several! This was one of the best surprises ever.
Of course, some of the games she got were completely awful. But some weren’t. And of course, it’s the thought that counts. I’m going to go get some on my own! Some cost as little as $5!
