Physical exercise for depression and anxiety?
According to a recent report from the Mental Health Foundation, doing any physical exercise or activity is just as effective as medication by anti-depressants! This is the most natural remedy for depression and anxiety you could find. The report says that you have to do it at least three times a week but even half an hour’s brisk walking can do the trick. Why has this not been published more often ? Probably because it does not suit the pharmaceutical lobbies who are pushing anti-depressants. Very often, NOT getting exercise can actually cause depression. As for anxiety, it is one of the best ways to reduce stress and relieve tension.
