I find it very interesting to know that simple waterproofing can effectively avoid mold problems and protects the basement, not only from water and possible flood, but also from basement mildew. After having been informed of this interesting information, I hurriedly checked our basement to make sure it was waterproof and I realized that it was not. So, the following day, I called a mold remediation specialist and had our basement waterproofed. This way, I feel more assured about my family’s safety and welfare. Having the waterproof basement also gives us easy access to our stuff stored down there, making our lives more convenient and carefree.
