A Bad Business Philosophy
“I don’t understand it so I’m not going to learn it” is a pretty bad philosophy to use when it comes to business. Unfortunately, that was exactly what my uncle thought when he was running the family business. He was more than happy to hand it over to me, and in the one year that I have been here I have worked hard to turn things around. IT equipment from Shire Leasing has made all the difference. My uncle did not understand technology so he just ignored it, and it hurt the business. If I don’t understand something I will find someone who can teach it to me.
