Learning the Easy Way
After working in the maintenance industry for 20 years I have learned many things. One of those is the importance of safety in the workplace. The new employees are forced to take a maintenance training course, before starting work. Most of them grumble at the idea of having to attend school. I wish this would have been in place when I started. I have seen a lot of injuries occur that could have been avoided with proper training. It is hard to expect the supervisors to show every new employee all the ways to stay safe. I think this class was a brilliant idea.
