British Museum 100 objects project
The British Museum has launched an interesting project recently in partnership with the British Broadcasting Corporation. Over the next year they are exploring a history of the world in just 100 objects. Two million years have been distilled into these one hundred artefacts, with the British Museum putting its unique knowledge behind the project to help explain the relevance of each. From pots and pestles to statues and figurines, many of the objects can be seen online right now. I’m looking forward to visiting the museum itself, though, at some point to hopfully see some of these things in the flesh.
