Give someone the gift of learning to read
Although many of us have experienced the dire necessity to learn to read early on just to get through school, it still confuses me just how anyone gets through school without knowing how to read. I’ve heard of people going all the way through the 12 grade school system without knowing a lick of reading skill sets. If you know someone like this then teaching them to read will be a godsend. Often they don’t realize how powerful they can be just by learning to read, but once they get a few lessons in they will see how much they’ve been missing out on!
